Caleb Skips Chemistry

Caleb Skips Chemistry

"Caleb Skips Chemistry" is a 4 piece heavy band that hail from the hills of Dungog.

The boys music is a solid integration of Hardcore and Heavy Rock. They take influences from many niches of the music scene, and have been found guiltily listening to acts such as "Kate Nash" and the "Venga Boys" in their spare time. Their own sound, however, has been compared to heavy "Grinspoon" and "Rage Against The Machine" but with melodic sensabilty similar to "Linkin Park".

"CSC" got together waaaay back in 2006 when they were all small boys. Since then they've grown into a powerful rock band. Their live stage presence has always been noted as "great" among punters and frontman "Sam Parmetre" has often been compared to "Iggy Pop".

The band have a "Promotional CD" which is self titled and was recorded late last year. Since the CD's release they have sold 300+ units and still counting. It contains 7 great tracks including the 3 on the myspace. It is available from any of the bands live shows for $5 or if you want we'll post it to you for $7.

So if your keen to hang out with the boys and have some fun at a show, check out "CSC" around the Hunter Valley, Newcastle, Sydney circuits. And don't forget to download their songs onto your iPod so you can be the coolest cat on the block.

Shades Glass

Shaded Glass

Q. What is Shaded Glass?

A. A more expensive form of frosted plastic!

Shaded Glass got off to a shaky beginning, singing hymns and gospel songs together in their school choir for 2 years.
With 3 years growing and the sprouting of several hairs down there, they lost their timid Christian boy voices and also their passion for gospel music.
Their Sunday mornings are now full of nothing but rock and or roll.

Shaded Glass have been amongst the Newcastle music scene for the last 18 months now and are only just beginning to come out of their shell with bigger gigs and bigger supports.
They have played more than 50 shows with miniature tours around the hunter.
Just as every artist does, Shaded Glass like to think of themselves as original and something that hasn't been done before.

Q. Is this even possible?
A. "Yeah man! It's totally sick aye. Ya know... just like sick aye" - Daniel Dimmock (Bassist)

Some people say:

"they are not going out of their way to be different. They are trying to make a difference" - Man we found on the street (clearly high)

At the moment Shaded Glass are nothing more then a skid mark on a dirty pair of undies, I don't know about your undies, but for me, skid marks stay there for a long time. The undies may get thrown out but the skid mark will always stay there because there are just some stains that Napisan can't get out!
